The Blue Zone
What began in 2008 as a National Geographic expedition to uncover the secrets of longevity, evolved into the discovery of five places around the world where people have been found to consistently live to over 100 years old, dubbed “Blue Zones.” Nosara, Costa RIca, the home of our brewery, is located in the Nicoya canton which has been deemed a Blue Zone. Perhaps it’s the calcium- and magnesium-rich water, which wards off heart disease and promotes strong bones? Maybe. We do know it helps us make world-class beer!
Jungle Haze IPA
Jungle Haze IPA is a New England style IPA that emphasizes big hop aroma and citrus flavor without the bitterness of traditional West Coast IPA’s. Jungle Haze is bursting with juicy, tropical notes due to the abundance of late dry hopping with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado hops, with a smooth creamy finish on the pallette. One taste of this puts you in a jungle haze.

Pelada Blonde Ale is true to it’s name, CLEAN AND NAKED, an easy drinking and approachable beer that focuses on simplicity with a crisp clean finish. Malt and hops in this beer are evenly balanced to create a lager-like crispness at a lower alcohol content.
